LED-Blitz: Apple auf der Suche nach Zulieferern

Passend zu den Gerüchten um eine neue Kamera in der nächsten iPhone-Generation – die Abnahme von 21 Millionen Einheiten eines 5 Megapixel-Moduls steht im Raum – will AppleInsider nun die ersten Anzeichnen für die Integration eines LED-Blitzes aufgetan haben. So soll Apple momentan auf der Suche nach Zulieferern für LED Flash-Module im zweistelligen Millionenbereich sein. Laut AI dürfte ein Deal mit Philips Lumileds Lighting-Sparte so gut wie sicher sein. Sollte Apple die nächste iPhone-Genration mit der 5 Megapixel Kamera und dem LED-Blitz ausstatten, stände das iPhone Photo-technisch wieder auf einer Stufe mit Motorolas Droid und dem von Google vorgestellten Nexus One.
