iQueef: Über den Versuch, Quatsch in den AppStore zu bringen

Kleine, nicht ganz ernst zu nehmende Geschichte eines jungen Entwickler-Teams, das nicht wirklich versteht, wo Apple die Grenze für zu obszöne Applikationen setzt. Ihre iQueef-Applikation wurde jedenfalls mit allen von ihnen vorgelegten Interface-Vorschlägen abgelehnt. Furz-Applikationen für das iPhone hingegen gibt es immer noch in rauen Mengen.

„I’ll start by saying that I’m not particularly surprised that Apple has refused to publish iQueef. Though I am mystified as to why iQuief is okay but iQueef is apparently obscene. But anyway, I thought I’d document our attempts to capitalize on the stunning success of apps like iFart, iBurp, and all of the other bodily-function sound apps by releasing iQueef.“
