Icons, Icons, Icons: AppStore-Ärger, Kaufen & Download

Techcrunch berichtet kopfschüttelnd über die AppStore-Eingangskontrolle. Das aktuelle Instapaper-Update (AppStore-Link) von Marco Arment wurde wegen eines, zu sehr an das Phone angelehnten Icons, zurückgewiesen:

„He’s had several other versions approved in the past, but this one was rejected. Why? Well, he decided to use an small icon within the app that looks like it could be an iPhone. Considering this app has been made for the iPhone, it seems a bit silly that you can’t use its likeness in any way […] „

Glyphish stellt kostenlose Toolbar-Icons für iPhone-Entwickler zum Download bereit. Die 24-bit PNGs kommen mit „alpha channel“-Transparents und einer größe von 30x30px. Den Download gibt es hier.

Ähnlich im Design aber $69 teuer, bietet auch Eddit 120 UI-Icons für iPhone-Entwickler an. Zweifarbig und ausgesprochen elegant.
