Googles „Cardboard Camera“ erreicht das iPhone
Der Suchmaschinen-Anbieter Google bietet seine Cardboard Camera jetzt auch in einer iOS-kompatiblen iPhone-Version an und gestattet euch so das Betrachten und die Aufnahme von VR-Fotos.
Der kostenfreie, 70MB große Download gestattet euch die Erstellung von bewegten 360°-Bildern, die ihr wahlweise mit oder ohne Ton aufnehmen könnt und integriert eine eigene Sammlung an Beispiel-Bildern, die euch Lust auf die Anwendung machen soll.
Unter iOS 10 stürzt die vor wenigen Minuten veröffentlichte Applikation derzeit leider noch direkt beim Start ab, Google dürfte hier aber in Kürze nachbessern. Zum Einsatz der Cardboard Camera wird eine kompatible Pappbrille vorausgesetzt. Die sogenannten Cardboards kosten auf Amazon knapp 10 Euro.
Google schreibt im Hausblog:
Starting today, you can also share your VR photos with friends and family on both iPhone and Android devices. Select multiple photos to create a virtual photo album, tap the share icon, and Cardboard Camera will generate a link (like this) that can be emailed, messaged, or posted in apps and on the web. With a VR viewer like Google Cardboard, your friends can relive those moments as if they were there.
