Flickr nutzt Geo-Schnittstelle in Safari

In unserem Artikel „Ortsbestimmung über Safari“ haben wir das Thema Geo-Lokalisierung über den Browser bereits angesprochen – jetzt nutzt der Foto-Dienst Flickr, in einer der ersten uns bekannten Web-Applikationen, das neue Feature. Der nun auf m.flickr.com integrierte Link „Photos taken nearby“ fragt die aktuelle Geo-Position eures iPhones ab und zeigt in der Nähe aufgenommene Schnappschüsse.

The Mobile Nearby page will figure out where you are in the world and show you photos that have been taken in the same area. Use this to explore your neighborhood, or find the best places to photograph local landmarks from.
